In an effort to extend educational opportunities, Summit Academy Monroe SA Prep campus will offer a core set of 2nd/3rd grade morning classes with elective options in the afternoon for the 2020-21 school year! I've heard it many times from people who have seen me sign. But learning American Sign Language (ASL) isn't just about doing something "cool." Learning ASL can open the door to a whole new world of friends and interesting people! My name is Michelle Mills. I learned to sign in high school when I made a deaf friend. She came to my house; as we would hang out, I learned ASL. It was an awesome experience! Some books are full of delicate morsels of delightful words. Some books are a little more “meaty” than others. Some are a little dry, some a little funny, and others may even taste a little sad.
