    Drawing class with concentration of graphite and charcoal mediums. Beginning with exploring each medium and how they can be used. Study Hall/Lunch

  • No need to register for lunch — students registered for classes at BOTH 11:30 & 1:00 class periods will be automatically rostered into “Lunch and Listen.”

    MS/HS: $15/fall term, $20/spring term
    Student(s) will participate in a 5-10 minute, age appropriate Bible lesson each week.

*3-4 Year Old PreK Cutoff & Prerequisites​:

If your child will be 3 years old by 1st day of class & is able to meet the following readiness criteria, they may be placed in Pre-K classes (after submitting application form, you will be asked to complete a readiness confirmation form):
MANDATORY:
  • Separate from parents/ regular caregivers (although may need short adjustment period)
  • Independently use bathroom (may still need help buttoning or handwashing)
  • Communicate clearly enough to be understood by adults in a classroom setting
  • Listen to simple instructions
  • Hold writing tool with fist or finger grasp
  • Take turns & able to share toys
RECOMMENDED:
  • Enjoy independent activities (e.g. looking at books, coloring, getting dressed)
  • Remember short sequences of events of 2 to 3 steps
  • Hold book properly & turn pages
  • Know some letter names, numbers, shapes, colors
  • Ask questions about objects, events & animals observed in their environment
  • Imitate sounds & rhythm; might have favorite song
  • Show interest in familiar people (e.g. siblings, family members, friends)

*Kindergarten Age Cutoff & Prerequisites​:

 If your child will be 5 years old by 8/1 and is able to do the following, they may be placed in our K-2 classes. If they are unable to do the majority of these tasks, our PreK/K classes will be a better fit.
  • Can recognize numbers, basic shapes, and can count to 10 
  • Can recite the alphabet and recognize most letters
  • Can use a pencil/crayon and scissors with some control
  • Can use the bathroom independently
  • Can speak clearly in complete sentences and understand 2-step directions 
  • Can pay attention for at least 10 minutes to a task an adult is leading
