Family Night: an opportunity for students to perform skills and display accomplishments while family and friends applaud their efforts of several months of learning!
Toward the end of each term, most of our Summit Academy campuses schedule a "Family Night" event.
Family Night gives our students (mainly in fine arts, and sometimes other classes as well) the chance to perform what they've learned before an audience.
You'll hear instrumental melodies, see ballet and karate performances, and enjoy drama and musical theater onstage productions.
A variety of art and other classes may display designs and projects created throughout the term.
Students will not be pressured into performing — as their primary educators you choose what they are involved in and to what extent, including Family Night activities. But instructors do notify parents if their class plans to participate in Family Night events.
Summit Academy families and their friends are invited to come celebrate accomplishments, whether your students perform or not!
There is no cost involved with Family Night; however, tickets are sold for drama and musical theater presentations (times, dates and ticket prices advertised in advance).
Family Night dates and times (drama and musical theater performances, too) are listed on our website calendar as soon as details are confirmed.
