    This class will give your child the opportunity to explore their creative side. Students will learn art history while experimenting with many different art mediums & styles — all while having fun & creating fabulous works of art that they'll be proud to bring home!

    Required Supplies: Bastien Piano Basics Level 1 (Four Book Set: Piano, Theory, Performance, Technic); piano (preferred) or keyboard for home practice; Not required but helpful: piano stickers for keys, metronome
    Beginner piano students will learn to read music, position fingers/ body correctly when playing, play correct notes with appropriate feeling, play for an audience, etc. Students will be expected to practice multiple times each week so access to a piano (or keyboard) is mandatory.

    Supervised lunch that includes (while eating) a time of learning age-appropriate Biblical truths following lessons in the 10-Minute Bible Journey and supplementary material from The Jesus Storybook Bible. Students are given time for relaxing / socializing following the Gospel-centered, life-applicable readings.

    A time to focus on studies & relax. Space & supervision are limited, therefore no more than 1 study hall period/student/day allowed unless approved by site director first. If scheduling conflict due to SA schedule (e.g. piano lesson) causes student to need study hall for less than 30 minutes, there is no charge.
